History
Cat breed Dwelf is really unusual, it is clear at the first
glance at it. You can say, it is not usually everything - the length of wool,
the length of the legs, physique in general. They give the impression of
creatures from another world, which is not surprising because in the breeding
program breeders wanted to achieve just such a result. To this end, they
crossed three breeds, of which all three are quite unusual in themselves.
The first is Canadian Sphinx The second
is Munchkin. In addition, the breeding program used an American
curl. The program was associated with a lot of difficulties, as getting a cat
perfectly appropriate for the external characteristics of the original idea of
breeders, was not easy. However, perseverance and professionalism allowed me to
overcome all difficulties, and get the first kitten in 2009. Today, the breed
Dwelf belongs to the experimental, because of the rarity and the small number of
individuals (for 2016 there were no more than 30), as well as because of its
novelty.

Description
Breed Dbelf combines a majestic look, good nature, and very
unconventional appearance. They cannot be left alone for a long time, as they
are very attached to their loved ones. Because of the short paws and lack of
wool, they require extra attention, but due to their magical nature, they
return this attention with excess.
Breed Dwelf, it is a small cat - an adult is 2.5 kg, no
more, the torso is elongated, the paws are short, the tail is long, the muzzle
is wedge-shaped. Ears stand straight, have an unusual structure, eyes are
large, very beautiful, and expressive. The wool is either missing completely or
there is a barely noticeable gun on the body. The exact life expectancy is
unknown, but approximately 10-13 years.
Personality
The cat breed Dwelf has not only the external
characteristics of each of the three breeds used but also internal qualities.
Moreover, we can say that these pets have absorbed all the best. Dwelf has a
soft, very friendly, and calm character, they do not create unnecessary problems
for their owners, do not harbor aggression or hatred towards other pets. You can
say that to have such an animal in the house is a pleasure. If you are ready to
provide him with proper care, of course.
There are many cats breeds that have a beautiful
appearance, but extremely problematic character, where everything is exactly the
opposite. In long-term contact with this animal, it seems that it does not
understand how to create negative states, vindictiveness, malice,
etc.
They are curious, moderately active, have a very balanced
psyche. Even rodents and parrots cannot fear for their lives, if in the house
Dwelf - these cats have no idea how to hunt or eat any living creatures.
with Dogs nor does there be any problems if the dogs themselves do
not perceive your cat as an enemy.
Children are treated beautifully, love to spend time and
play with them. However, it is extremely important to explain to the child that
these cats should be treated very carefully, they should never be abandoned because of short paws they will not be able to land properly
"cat-like". This, in turn, will lead to injuries to the animal. Also,
consider that the skin of the animal is very sensitive to scratches and cuts.
Common Diseases
The breed of Dwelf is very young, and reliable deep research
on hereditary diseases, generated by mutations of three non-standard cats,
today does not exist. Owners note that there are no serious health problems,
the only exception - the skin of the animal, very sensitive and prone to
irritation. Also, remember that due to the lack of wool Dwelf can easily catch
a cold in winter on a draught, and therefore need a jumpsuit and warm clothes.
Care
Combing wool in this case is absolutely not required, as
there is simply no wool. But to bathe the cat will have much more often than
the usual, having wool. Do it every week, and, the skin is sensitive enough,
and therefore you need to choose the right shampoo. Ears should be cleaned with
extreme care, as ear cartilage is very sensitive to touch. Also, make sure that
the animal's eyes are always clean. The claws are trimmed about once every 10
days, teeth are brushed 3 times a week.
